Our Name: Procyon Wildlife (pronounced “PRO-see-on”).
Our Motto: Working For Wildlife: We accept all species of mammals native to Ontario in an effort to preserve wildlife in their natural habitat.
Our Mission: Procyon Wildlife is dedicated to working with our communities in an effort to help wild animals in need of care. Our goals are to rescue, rehabilitate and safely release these animals, and to promote public appreciation for wildlife preservation.
Procyon Wildlife is provincially licensed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and is located near Beeton, Ontario. Compassionate members of local and surrounding communities bring needy animals that they have found to our facility for care. Each year, Procyon Wildlife looks after hundreds of orphaned and injured wild animals. Animals are cared for by our specially-trained staff of dedicated volunteers. The animals are released into their original natural habitats as soon as they are healthy and able to fend for themselves.
Our facility includes:
- outdoor enclosures, including a 50-foot flight cage where animals are transitioned back into their natural, wild environment
- an intake and examination room, complete with an x-ray machine
- a triage, first aid and recovery centre for sick and injured animals
- nurseries for raising infants until they are old enough to release

From overseeing daily operations to leading educational programs she wears countless hats to ensure all our animals receive the help they need and every team member feels supported.
Crystal Faye
Full-Time Staff, Director of Animal Care Welfare, and Director
Crystal is at the heart of Procyon Wildlife providing expert care and coordination for over 1,500 patients annually. She manages every stage of the rehabilitation process, from intake assessments and vet visits to overseeing disease control protocols and preparing animals for release, ensuring the highest standard of care for every critter.
Linda Boag-Moores
Administrative Assistant, Social Media Coordinator and Director
Linda has been with Procyon Wildlife since its inception, playing an integral role in shaping our organization. She expertly balances two critical roles – supporting our administrative needs while overseeing our social media presence. Her leadership and dedication are invaluable to Procyon.

Foster Animal Care, Hotline Volunteers Coordinator, Grant Writer and Director
Sarah wears many hats, balancing the coordination of foster volunteers who provide essential at-home care for our wildlife patients with managing our phone communications. Her dedication ensures that fostered animals receive exceptional care while community members and supporters receive prompt and compassionate responses to their inquiries. Additionally Sarah brings her expertise to animal care and is an integral part of our core animal care staff.

Kylee plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of Procyon Wildlife assisting with triage, patient care, and vital tasks that keep everything running smoothly. Her dedication and flexibility allow us to meet the needs of our wildlife patients and maintain seamless coordination from intake to release. Kylee has particular interest in environmental enrichment and ensures that our enclosures are always appropriate for the animals in our care.

Full-Time Staff, Maintenance and Animal Support Manager
Peter is the backbone of our facility, handling everything from building repairs and enclosure construction to mowing the grass and maintaining safety standards. Peter also steps in for animal care when we are short-staffed. His hard work ensures our centre is a safe and welcoming space for both wildlife and people.
