Procyon Wildlife volunteer Jen Howard held a very informative seminar about foxes this past Saturday, at the Royal Canadian Legion, in Belle Ewart.
Due to popular demand, Jen will be holding a second seminar on Wednesday July 28th at THE HEALING YURT, 1393 Thomas Dr, Gilford ON L0L 1R0.
For more details, you can see Jennifer’s posts on Facebook pages Alcona Chats or Procyon Wildlife.
Don’t miss this important seminar to learn more about foxes and how serious mange can be if left untreated!
Thank you to all who came out to Belle Ewart last night for our talk on our local foxes. Our talk was very well received and the slideshow was a hit. Seeing the wild foxes going from being sick and transforming back to their beautiful selves is rewarding. Some donations came for which we are grateful,; every dollar helps us to care for these precious lives. Kids were also in attendance, taking it all in. Questions were answered and new knowledge attained.
Thank you to those who helped set up and take down. Thank you so much for donations, we even had a drop off of medical supplies.
With so many wildlife emergencies this year, we appreciate the help!
There was a request for another talk in Gilford. Jennifer will set a date and time and Procyon will announce this on social media and on this website.
To date, there are more reports of foxes suffering from mange with another trap going out Tuesday to capture a fox with an extremely bad case of mange.
Amazing caring community. Team work at its best. Stay tuned and thank you all with a very special thank you from our foxes in need. 🦊
