Year End Updates

As the year 2021 comes to an end, we are pleased to report that nearly 1500 animals were in our care this year! We knew we were busy, but this is certainly a record!

We had so much heartbreaking distemper in raccoons and a few skunks, and we had more than 20 cases of mangy foxes. Usually, in the fall we get a break, but not this year. A fox was found in a snowbank out cold in Grand Bend with head trauma. He was rehabbed and released successfully. There were so many head traumas, squirrels, opossums, rabbits, also distemper, mange and more.
