This month, Procyon Volunteer Elizabeth Trickey writes about bats and their place in our ecosystem. International Bat Day is Saturday, August 28th, but we will be celebrating this unique animal for the entire month! Help us celebrate this amazing creature by sponsoring a bat. Our sponsorship programs begin at $35.00.

Procyon volunteer Jennifer Howard gives us some practical advice in her article called How to Coexist with Wildlife.

On August 14th, Procyon Wildlife will be participating in Bolton’s Journey of Hope Vendors’ Market. The market goes from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. We will have for sale delicious baked goods baked by our volunteers, baseball hats with our logo, scented candles by Sabrina, handmade greeting cards by artist Kathryn Allyn, framed photos by Jennifer Howard wildlife photography and many more items! Wonderbunnie Designs, an avid supporter of Procyon Wildlife, will also be there and will have for sale non-medical masks and other beautiful handmade items. Don’t miss this fun FREE event with lots of great LIVE FREE MUSIC in the evening!

There are many facets to running an animal care centre, besides animal care. We are looking for someone to do our garbage pickup, telephone volunteers and people to help with website posting and administration. If you are, or someone you know, is interested in becoming a volunteer at Procyon, please contact us at in**@pr*************.com.

Thank you for your continued support of Procyon Wildlife’s goal toward rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing our injured and orphaned Ontario wildlife back to their natural habitat.

Sincerely,

Procyon Wildlife
