Get Spring & Easter Photos of Your Kids and Pets and Help Local Wildlife!

On April 8th and 9th, wildlife photographer Jennifer Howard will be at Rovili’s Pet World to take spring photos of your kids and your family pets. If you attended any of the Procyon Photo Shoots this past December, you already know the fantastic results Jennifer gets with her photos!

To add to the fun, the Easter Bunny will be there, and real rabbits too!

Dates: April 8th: 10:00 am -4:00 pm

April 9th: 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Location: Rovili’s Pet World, 301 Queen Street, South, Bolton, Ontario

All proceeds to go toward the care of injured and orphaned wild animals!

Our Mission: Procyon Wildlife is dedicated to working with our communities in an effort to help wild animals in need of care. Our goals are to rescue, rehabilitate and safely release these animals, and to promote public appreciation for wildlife preservation.

Turtle Conservation Centre (home of the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre)

Cost:  $75 per person (all proceeds donated to OTCC towards turtle care)

This workshop will be a full day program, and shall include a morning of lecture, and afternoon of hands-on practical experience.  The program includes:

  • Turtle conservation both globally and locally
  • The basics of turtle anatomy and physiology that make their approach to care different than mammals and birds
  • Ontario’s turtle species
  • Rehabilitation of turtles – stepwise approach to successful care
  • Pizza Lunch provided
  • Tour of OTCC’s facility
  • Practical hands-on guide to turtle rehabilitation, utilizing cadavers to illustrate venipuncture techniques, fracture repair techniques, and fluid therapy techniques
